Today’s prompt: Someone must have seen him because the police
were at his door.
“Down the hatch,”
Dr. Nussbaum said before drinking the concoction. It burned his throat and his
eyes lost focus. He felt a tingling in his toes that crept slowly up his legs
to his torso and then to the tip of his fingers and top of his head. He gazed
into the bathroom mirror and saw only his bathrobe—not his body.
“It worked!” he
shouted. “I’m invisible!”
He peeled off his
robe and ran barefoot out into the street. What should he do first? Rob a bank?
Someone must have
seen him because the police were at his door.
